On April 27, we had the privilege of shooting Phoebe and Alex’s wedding at the Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa & Marina. It was a beautiful day, and was filled with some of the most hilarious wedding games we have ever seen! In the first half of the film, the games you see the groomsmen playing are designed by the bridesmaids. As cultural tradition dictates, they have to successfully complete these “challenges” in order for Alex to win permission to marry Phoebe.
Later in the film, that inflatable die they’re tossing was a great addition to the traditional glass-tinkling kiss request. Depending on what number turned up on each roll, there were some additional stipulations to how Phoebe and Alex had to kiss. It made for some hilarious moments!
